Open to all — including ALC members, non-members and government — the Awards brought together senior decision-makers from across the end-to-end supply chain, recognising excellence in innovation, resilience, sustainability and collaboration, and highlighting the organisations and people strengthening the fundamental driver of Australia’s economy.

Supply Chain Community Award

Toll Group

Toll Group and We Are Mobilise have created an employment pathway program supporting Australians experiencing – or at risk of homelessness.

By combining Mobilise’s expertise in homelessness support with Toll’s national employment capability, the partnership is helping individuals build
financial independence, secure stable housing, and regain long-term stability through meaningful employment opportunities.

In just the first four months of operation, the program achieved 29 full-time job placements, with further candidates progressing through job readiness and onboarding pathways.

The judges also acknowledged the broader community impact of the program and recognised it as a scalable and purpose-driven initiative.

Supply Chain Environmental Sustainability Excellence Award

Williams Logistics

A 40-year-old family business based in Sydney, Williams Logistics is redefining what sustainable third-party logistics can look like.

As Australia’s first B Corp-certified 3PL, the company has developed a Circular Logistics Ecosystem that supports textile recovery, sustainable packaging and garment refurbishment, helping reduce waste and extend product life cycles across the fashion and lifestyle sector.

The judges were particularly impressed by the company’s ability to return 99 per cent of processed stock to a commercially viable state within 48 hours, demonstrating how logistics can deliver both strong commercial outcomes and meaningful environmental impact.

Supply Chain Industry & Government Partnership Award

ARTC - Pimba Intermodal Hub

The judges recognised the ARTC Pimba Intermodal Hub project as a standout example of industry and government collaboration delivering long-term benefits for regional Australia and the national supply chain.

The initiative transformed BHP Copper South Australia’s long-haul freight task from a road-dominant model into an integrated rail-first operating system connecting mine, terminal, rail and port operations.

The project has created critical freight and defence infrastructure capability while supporting economic development, workforce participation and regional connectivity.

Supply Chain Innovation Award

Toll - Low Profile Rigids

Toll Group submitted two outstanding entries for this category, with the winning initiative recognised for the development of its purpose-built low-profile rigid truck and double drop deck trailer, innovatively designed to enhance safety in beverage delivery operations.

What stands out about this innovation is that it is not based on a single feature, but on the intentional integration of ergonomic vehicle design, engineered safety controls, advanced driver assistance technologies and data-enabled safety management systems.

By redesigning the work itself, Toll has moved beyond compliance-based approaches to create safer delivery operations through integrated engineering and operational innovation.

Supply Chain Productivity Partnership Award

Victoria International Container Terminal (VICT)

Victoria International Container Terminal represents one of the most advanced container terminals in Australia — and globally — and continues to invest in innovative commercial partnerships that improve safety, efficiency and sustainability across its operations.

The judges were particularly impressed by VICT’s commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, and the organisation’s ability to deliver measurable operational and productivity outcomes through technology, collaboration and forward-thinking infrastructure investment.

Through these partnerships and operational initiatives, VICT is helping drive smarter, safer and more productive outcomes for Australia’s supply chain industry.

Supply Chain Resilience Award

Linfox & Primary Connect

Both organisations demonstrated exceptional leadership, adaptability and operational strength in responding to disruption and building more resilient supply chains.

The judges were particularly impressed by their ability to maintain continuity of operations, respond quickly to changing conditions and work collaboratively across complex supply chain networks during periods of uncertainty and disruption.

Importantly, both initiatives highlighted the critical role that strong partnerships, forward planning, innovation and operational agility play in strengthening Australia’s national supply chain resilience.

Supply Chain Rising Star Award

Orgen Group - Daniela Cordoba

Daniela has made an exceptional impact in a short period of time, helping transform Orgen Group into a modern, technology-driven workforce solutions provider.

The judges were particularly impressed by Daniela’s leadership, commercial thinking and solutions-focused mindset.

They also commend her commitment to diversity, inclusion and workforce development, championing opportunities for migrant talent and helping build a more resilient and sustainable workforce for Australia’s supply chain industry.

Daniela represents the next generation of leadership in logistics — innovative, driven and deeply committed to improving the industry for the future.

Supply Chain Safety & Wellbeing Award

Primary Connect

Primary Connect received this Award for its outstanding leadership in creating safer, more inclusive workplaces across their supply chains.

Through a powerful Inclusion Strategy focused on Disability, Gender, Culture, LGBTQ+ and First Nations representation, Primary Connect has embedded wellbeing, belonging and psychological safety into everyday operations across the business.

The judges were impressed by the strong executive leadership behind the program, the measurable improvements in employee belonging and engagement, and the organisation’s commitment to creating a culture where people feel safe to speak up.

This initiative sets a benchmark for the industry, demonstrating that inclusion, wellbeing and safety are not separate priorities — they are critical drivers of stronger culture, better performance and safer workplaces.

Supply Chain Workforce Diversity Award

Linfox & Young Guns

Linfox received recognition for its strong leadership and long-term commitment to building a more inclusive, diverse and high-performing workforce across their supply chain.

Through its “Driving to 30” strategy, Linfox has implemented targeted initiatives focused on increasing female participation and creating meaningful career pathways for women across the business.

The judges were particularly impressed by the measurable growth in female representation across key operational and leadership areas, including Linfox’s Driver and Warehouse Academies, graduate programs and leadership development initiatives.

Young Guns is an Indigenous-owned business that challenges the traditional labour hire business models with a genuine commitment to creating meaningful employment pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other underrepresented groups.

The judges recognised the measurable impact achieved across the workforce, including strong growth in female participation, increased Indigenous representation, and the success of the Potential First Pathways program, which has supported 95% of participants into employment outcomes.
