ALC supports building a commercially viable Australian low carbon liquid fuels (LCLF) industry. Australia will continue to rely on liquid fuels for a significant share of the transport task while other technologies mature. The consultation paper recognises the same challenge across aviation, heavy road transport, maritime, mining, agriculture, industry and defence.
