Wayfinder’s International Women’s Day Breakfast – 8 March 2024

In celebration of International Women's Day 2024, Wayfinder: Supply Chain Careers for Women hosted a breakfast and panel event at the Port of Melbourne Education Centre.

The Honourable Catherine King, Minister for Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts delivered an enlightening address, shedding light on the current landscape of gender equity, acknowledging the strides made, yet emphasising the continued journey ahead.

Guiding the discussion was ALC CEO & MD Hermione Parsons, who skilfully facilitated a panel comprising of Lauren Pemberton (Linfox), Kevin Gunn (Coles), Alison McNeill (Primary Connect) and Olga Coelho Heubert (VICT) who are deeply committed to driving change and advocating for women within the supply chain and logistics industry.

Independent Chair, Margaret Staib Air Vice Marshal AM, CSC and ALC Fellow Ingilby Dickson also shared with the attendees their experiences, achievements and challenges of gender diversity within the industry.
